Abbey

Hello Kathy, I haven't checked in for a awhile but wanted to give you an update. I renamed her Abbey but she used to be Tammy. I adopted her in June 2015. She's going strong!! She has mast cell tumors and has had two surgeries. She is casted in this pic following a local procedure two weeks ago. She's strong willed, determined and healthy otherwise. She is also very spoiled, but I can't help myself. Just wanted to let you know we're a great match and thank you.

Dear Kathy: I would like to thank you--and the wonderful people who help you with your Rescue--for bringing our darling Stumpy into our lives. This sweet, smart, affectionate boy brings us so much love and so many smiles that I cannot imagine life without him. I also thank you for the care with which you investigate potential homes for the babies you rescue. It makes me happy to know that every dog that comes through your rescue is placed in the RIGHT home...that you make sure that each dog is placed with a responsible family that will provide the best care for any special needs and the most love. Our boy is a 'special needs' dog who has thrived with good medical care and lots of love. Thank you for loving these sweet creatures and for providing homes for them. We love our little Stumpy more than words can say, and we are so grateful to you for finding him, rescuing him, and for entrusting us to give him his forever home. There is a special place in Heaven for those kind people like you who protect these helpless creatures. On behalf of our Stumpy and all the other animals who have been given their forever homes through your Rescue: Thank you.

We lost our chow mix to cancer in December 2011. Our pug mix Lilly was broken hearted missing her pack mate. I decided to Foster a pug in need. It only took two weeks to know we loved TJ & he is still showing us what a great dog he is. Thanks to pugs unlimited gives shelter, we not only have two happy pugs but a teenager that likes dogs now.
